The following figure illustrates the relationship between Fx and Mz, for this test

case, which had a 170 mm (6.7 inch) offset from the tire centerline to the SWIFT

sensor centerline:

Fx = 165 N observed

Distance = 170 mm

Mz = Fx x Distance = 165 N x 170 mm = 28 N•m
